I had been to church for many years as a baby sitter for my kid as my wife was listening to the sermon. Subconsciously I missed out many chances to know about God. In the winter of 2012, I traveled to Hong Kong with my family. However, I was coughing very hard as I returned and my chest was extremely painful. I had to be very cautious when I sit down because of my chest pain. At the same time, I also felt that there was something inside my right ear that I could not hear things clearly. I went to the doctor for a checkup, and he said that I might have a muscle strain and there was a hole in my right ear drum. He prescribed to me a strong pain-killer and immediately referred me to an otolaryngologist. I was very worried at the time. As I went home, my wife also looked at my ear with a flashlight and saw the hole there. The pain-killer was not very effective and I was still in great pain every morning as I attempted to get up.
On Sunday, the pastor was aware of my chest pain and prayed for me. Another brother also had a conviction to pray for my ear. There was not an immediate healing. In the next morning, I got up as usual for work and suddenly I realized that all the pain was gone. On Tuesday, I was also aware that my hearing began to improve. I went to the otolaryngologist on Saturday and he told me that there was no hole in my eardrum nor was there any hearing loss. I was overwhelmed by the healing power of God, for even the first doctor and my wife was mistakenly for the situation, I was the one who truly experienced the situation, and I knew it was God who healed me.
